I met my husband at St. Mike’s. He was a Sophomore and I was a Junior. We were both orientation aides in the fall of 1980. We met at an orientation aide get to know you activity on the tennis courts the day before the freshman arrived. There were two lines across from each other and you were supposed to walk across and introduce yourself to someone you did not know. This very cute guy (Brian) came over to me and we started talking. Later, that night we went downtown eventually ending up at the Chicken Bone. We dated all through college and got married in 1987. We’ve been married almost 30 years.
