3 Loves of My Life

SMC gave me so many incredible memories and friendships but nothing will ever compare to the connection it gave me to the 3 loves of my life – Shelby Superneau, Abby Meachem and Emme Hughes. Abby, Shelby and I met in our First Year Seminar (Drama & Culture) with Prof. Nick Clary. Abby later introduced us to Emme on the night of the 2007 Halloween Dance. We have been inseparable ever since and have shared the best, most memorable times together. We’ve continued to stand by each other post graduating through all the good – new jobs, graduate school, engagements – and through all the bad – uncertainty, overwhelming career changes & the loss of loved ones, like the passing of Shelby’s Dad and my Dad. These 3 women have been by my side every step of the way. They have made even the hardest, most devastating times in my life feel bearable because of their friendship. I know we will be laughing and crying (but mostly laughing) together through everything life continues to throw our way. Our friendship and love is set in stone forever…just like our Mount Rushmore Halloween costume!
